Operator Training
LANTRA - the Land Based Training Authority.
You are at RISK if you have untrained staff operating machinery.
It will soon be mandatory to train operators properly and ensure that they have appropriate certification.
Many Golf Clubs and Councils have used us for training their staff.
We are a LANTRA Training Centre with qualified Instructors who can train, asess and award such Certifcation.
This is NOT restricted to John Deere users. Regardless of which make of machines you use, we can ensure your operators have PROOF of competency.
The Course lasts for one day and the cost is £130+vat per person including all relevant paper work and issue of Certificates. We require 5 on each course. There is a practical and a written examination at the end of the Course.
NPTC - City & Guilds
NPTC is a Part A accredited awarding body with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) which embraces DELLS for Wales and CCEA for Northern Ireland. They have similar recognition in Scotland with the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
This allows NPTC to submit awards and qualifications for Part B accreditation into the National Qualifications Framework and we currently have 110 qualifications accredited in this way.
