Why Choose Stiga for Your Garden & Estate?

Stiga is a world leader in garden innovation, famous for engineering machines that make complex gardening tasks simple. Whether you are maintaining a small cottage garden in Sevenoaks or a multi-acre estate in the Kent countryside, Stiga provides specialised solutions for every environment.

Stiga Lawnmowers: The Mulching Specialists

Stiga revolutionized the industry with the Multiclip system. Instead of collecting grass, these mowers finely shred clippings and return them to the soil as a natural fertilizer.

  • Time-Saving: Mowing is up to 30% faster because you never have to stop to empty a grass bag.

  • Healthier Lawns: The nitrogen-rich mulch keeps your lawn green and hydrated during the summer months.

  • Versatility: The Stiga Combi range offers 3-in-1 cutting, allowing you to switch between collecting, mulching, or rear discharge depending on the grass length.

Lawn Tractors & Riders: Precision at Scale

For larger gardens, Stiga lawn tractors provide legendary comfort and durability.

  • Stiga Estate Tractors: Featuring large collectors and powerful twin-cylinder engines, these are perfect for those who want a pristine, “vacuumed” finish on their lawns.

  • Stiga Tornado Tractors are side discharge meaning the grass is not collected and is fed back into your lawn, ideal for larger areas

  • Stiga Swift: The first 48V battery-powered rider that can fit through a standard 90cm garden gate. It offers the power of petrol with the quiet, push-button ease of battery

Outfront Mowers: The Professional Choice

The Stiga Park and e-Park ranges are famous for their Front-Cut Decks and 50/50 Articulated Steering.

  • Total Visibility: Because the deck is at the front, you can see exactly where you are cutting—perfect for mowing under bushes or around flowerbeds.

  • Zero-Trace Turning: The rear wheels follow exactly in the path of the front wheels. This prevents the back of the tractor from “swinging out” and hitting fences or garden ornaments.

  • Multi-Season Use: Your Stiga Park is a tool for all seasons. You can swap the mower deck for a snow blade, brush, or trailer, making it a year-round workhorse.

The e-Power Revolution: 20V vs. 48V Garden Machinery

Stiga’s e-Power system is unique because the batteries are designed and tested by Stiga specifically for garden tools, ensuring they perform even in the toughest conditions.

Stiga 20V (Essential Range)

Ideal for smaller residential gardens and routine maintenance.

  • Lightweight & Ergonomic: Perfect for the Stiga Series 1 lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, grass trimmers, and blowers.

  • Interchangeable: Use the same 20V battery across the entire handheld range, including the Collector 132e, 136e and 140e lawnmowers

  • User-Friendly: Quiet, low-vibration, and zero emissions—perfect for Sevenoaks neighbourhoods where noise is a concern.

Stiga 48V (Experience & Expert Range)

Designed for larger gardens and more demanding tasks.

  • High-Torque Performance: The 48V system powers the Series 5, 7, and 9 tools. This includes chainsaws and heavy-duty mowers that rival petrol performance.

  • Smart Battery Management: Stiga e-Power batteries “talk” to the tool to optimize power delivery, ensuring you get the maximum runtime from every charge.

  • Longer Life: Tested to remain efficient even after 500+ charge cycles, providing years of reliable service.

The Godfreys Stiga Advantage

As an authorised Stiga dealer, Godfreys of Sevenoaks doesn’t just sell you a box. We provide:

  1. Expert Selection: We help you choose between petrol, 20V, or 48V based on your garden’s size.

  2. Full Workshop Backup: From software updates on battery riders to blade sharpening and servicing, our Sevenoaks service centre keeps your Stiga running perfectly.

  3. Genuine Stiga Parts: We stock thousands of genuine spares, including e-Power batteries and Multiclip blades, via our sister site Global Mower Spares.

Stiga Garden Machinery: Frequently Asked Questions

The main advantage of the Stiga Park (front-cut) range is visibility and maneuverability. Because the cutting deck is positioned at the front rather than under the seat, you can see exactly where you are mowing. This allows you to cut under low-hanging bushes and into tight corners. Combined with 50/50 articulated steering, where the rear wheels follow the front wheels exactly, it makes navigating complex Kent gardens incredibly easy without the risk of the back of the machine swinging into obstacles.

Stiga’s Multiclip technology is a dedicated mulching system. Instead of collecting grass, the blade and deck design keeps the grass clippings circulating until they are shredded into tiny particles. These are then blown deep into the lawn’s roots. This acts as a natural fertilizer, returning moisture and nutrients to the soil. It also saves you significant time as there is no grass bag to empty and no clippings to dispose of.

No, they are two separate systems designed for different levels of work. The 20V e-Power system is designed for lighter, “Essential” handheld tools in smaller gardens. The 48V e-Power system is more powerful, designed for “Experience” and “Expert” range mowers and high-torque machinery like chainsaws. However, within each voltage class, the batteries are fully interchangeable (e.g., a 48V battery from a Stiga mower will power a 48V Stiga hedge trimmer).

Godfreys is an Authorised Stiga Service Centre. We recommend an annual service for all Stiga petrol and battery tractors to ensure the software is updated and the mechanical components are in peak condition. We provide expert servicing, warranty repairs, and genuine parts at our Otford Road workshop, and we can arrange collection and delivery for larger riders and tractors across Sevenoaks and the local area.
