Franchise-Trained Servicing & Repairs

Please Note:

Service prices include a steam clean of the machine. However, heavily soiled machinery will incur an additional cleaning charge. If this is required, you will be contacted before work commences.

There is a nominal charge for all servicing, covering the cost of disposing of waste oil, filters, fuel, and batteries, in accordance with proper environmental regulations.

The prices listed are labour prices only and do not include parts, consumables, delivery/collection and VAT.  All repair work needed in addition to these general service prices will be estimated at £99.00 per hour, customers approval must be given before these works proceed (unless otherwise instructed).

The charge for consumables is to cover lubricants, nuts, bolts, washers, pins etc. cleaning agents, petrol, welding materials, paint and other similar items and will usually constitute 5% of the cost of the job value.

We charge without exception £41.67 plus VAT for mowers and handheld machines or £83.33 plus VAT for ride-on mowers and larger machines as a  booking in fee. This is part payment for any repair estimates or service work carried out. Should the repair be claimable under warranty from any of the manufacturers obviously the fee will be refunded.

Godfreys operate an on-site repair & service.  The call out charge is £120 plus VAT (15 min Labour included), on-site labour is charged at £120 per hour plus VAT.

We reserve the right not to proceed with any work or accept any work if we believe we cannot source the relevant parts.  There may be delays for parts if the machines are of non-stocked brands.

ALL machinery taken into the workshop will be subject to an inspection fee:
Small handheld machines and pedestrian mowers £50 inc vat.
Ride-ons and large machinery £100 inc vat.
