WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN

Godfreys Sevenoaks Ltd are seeking to recruit a technician for our workshop.

Godfreys are a main agent for John Deere, Stiga, Hayter, Stihl, Echo and Westwood/ Countax.
We specialise in the sales, service and repair of horticultural machinery ranging from small hand held to large ride on machines.

The role will include servicing and repairs to the above makes of machinery in a busy workshop as part of a dedicated team, supported by service reception and parts department.

Key attributes are punctuality, reliability and enthusiasm along with the ability to work as part of a team and individually.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of single and multi-cylinder engines, preferably both petrol and diesel.
Knowledge of belt drive systems and skills in the sharpening of rotary and cylinder blades is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
Attention to detail is a core skill that we seek as fault finding is essential in keeping clients machinery reliable and in increasing parts and labour revenue.
The industry is at a turning point where petrol driven machinery is gradually making way to new battery technology and we are committed to making sure our employees are at the forefront of this evolution with regards to ongoing training and product knowledge. We are keen to invest in motivated personnel to keep us able to offer our services to our large client base.

PARTS ADVISOR

Godfreys Sevenoaks Ltd are seeking to recruit a Parts Advisor

Godfreys are a main agent for John Deere, Stiga, Hayter, Stihl, Echo and Westwood/ Countax.
We specialise in the sales, service and repair of horticultural machinery ranging from small hand held to large ride on machines.

The role is providing customers with the correct parts and to support the service technicians

Key attributes are punctuality, reliability and enthusiasm along with the ability to work as part of a team and individually.
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of garden machinery, good communication skills and be computer literate. Experience would be  preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Job Type: Full-time (5 days a week including Saturdays)
