STIHL HLA 40 Cordless Long-Reach Hedge Trimmer (AS System)
The STIHL HLA 40 is a compact, lightweight long-reach hedge trimmer designed specifically for the STIHL AS System. As the first of its kind in this range, it is the ideal solution for homeowners looking to maintain tall hedges, large shrubs, and garden bushes without the need for ladders.
Versatile Performance & Telescopic Reach
Equipped with a tool-free telescopic shaft, the HLA 40 extends to a total length of 2.6 metres, allowing you to safely trim high hedges from the ground. Despite its reach, it remains incredibly easy to handle, weighing just 3.7 kg. The soft-grip handle and quick-release shoulder strap ensure maximum comfort during extended gardening sessions.
Precision Cutting with Adjustable Angles
Achieve a professional finish with laser-cut, diamond-ground blades. The 45 cm cutter bar features a tool-free adjustment system, allowing you to pivot the head between -45° and +70°. This flexibility makes it easy to tackle everything from the flat tops of tall hedges to precise side-trimming.

Total Reach: Up to 2.6m
Adjustable Angles: 3 positions for versatile cutting.
