Parts Receptionist
Join our team as a key front-line representative, supporting both our parts operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, thrives in a busy environment, and brings strong organisational and technical aptitude.
About the Role
As a Parts Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling parts department. You will support the full customer journey — from initial inquiry and workshop job card preparation. Your ability to provide exceptional service, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and drivers will be essential to the success of our team
Key Tasks
Greet and assist counter customers in all areas of the sale of parts and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Assist customers and workshop technicians in the selection and ordering of parts. Place orders on the system where required and take deposits.
Allocate and place relevant parts in Workshop and Customer Parts bins and inform each customer accordingly
Chase Parts back orders to meet customer expectations and workshop requirements
Main Attributes
Because of the high levels of customer interaction, a combination of good technical skills and diplomacy is required.
Experience in a parts focused role preferred but not mandatory.
