The Stihl RMA448PV is a battery-powered lawn mower with variable speed drive, designed for users looking to cut large lawns. This 4 Series battery-powered lawn mower is quiet and packs plenty of power – making it the ideal choice for gardeners.
This lawn mower is built with a rugged polymer deck that is lightweight, rust proof and double layered for additional stability. It’s UV resistant, has a 48 cm / 18″ cutting width and single point height adjustment that is adjustable between 20 – 100 mm. The RMA 448 PV is part of the AP System range of tools and is powered by an AP 300 S battery that is interchangeable with other machines across the range. This lawn mower is fitted with sequential battery discharge, which means the lawn mower has an automatic switchover feature – so when one battery runs out of power, it will automatically switch over to the next one. On a full charge with the recommended AP 300 S battery you will be able to mow lawns up to 510 m2, which becomes 1,020 m2 when the lawn mower is used with two AP 300 S batteries.
The Stihl RMA448PV has 4 different ways of mowing. No additional tools are required but we do recommend you refer to the owner’s manual before working. You can either:
Cut & collect with the grass catcher box fitted
Cut & drop by removing the grass catcher box
Side discharge with the flap that is integrated into the deck
Mulch with the multi-blade and mulching attachment
Bare unit batteries and charger sold separately
